One Golden Summer

Carley Fortune's One Golden Summer. Good things happen at the lake, or so Alice's grandmother always says. At seventeen, Alice spent one formative summer at a cottage in Barry's Bay with her Nan, where she took the photograph of three grinning teenagers in a yellow speedboat that changed the course of her career. Years later, when Nan breaks her hip, Alice proposes one more summer at the lake, never expecting to run into Charlie Florek, the boy in that photograph, all grown up.
