Meet Me at the Lake

Carley Fortune's Meet Me at the Lake. Ten years ago, Fern Brookbanks spent twenty-four unforgettable hours with Will Baxter, an idealistic artist, and made a pact to meet again exactly one year later on the dock of her family's lake resort. Fern showed up. Will didn't. Now thirty-two and unexpectedly running her late mother's struggling resort, Fern is blindsided when Will arrives, nine years too late, with a business proposal and an explanation she's not sure she's ready to hear.
