Leather & Lark

Brynne Weaver's Leather & Lark, the second Ruinous Love novel. Contract killer Lachlan Kane wants nothing more than a quiet life in his leather studio, far from his traumatic past. Then indie singer-songwriter Lark Montague offers him a deal: use his skills to hunt down a killer, and she'll help secure his freedom. The catch is that he has to marry her first, and as their fake marriage deepens into something real, another danger closes in on them both.
