Butcher & Blackbird

Brynne Weaver's Butcher & Blackbird, opening the Ruinous Love trilogy. Even serial killers deserve a meet-cute. When a chance encounter sparks an unlikely bond between rival hunters Rowan and Sloane, two like-minded, pitch-black souls who both happen to enjoy killing other serial killers, their annual game of blood and pursuit turns into something neither one expected: friendship, then something more, while the ghosts they've left behind close in.
